Wow...

So, basically I'm awful at blogging. Hahahahaha. It's almost the end of 2009. My last post on here was the beginning of LAST YEAR. So A lot has happened in the last... year and a half (give or take).

I graduated from my Sophomore and Junior years, which ultimately came as a surprise. My mom died July 5th of last year. I've been fixing computers at school since September of last year. And I enjoy it so so so so much. I've actually been using my talents to make a little cash on the side. And now I'm a Senior.

I'm actually working on a computer right now that's taking me way longer than it should have. I wish I wasn't such a spazz. But it shall be finished tomorrow!

I'm also working on college applications right now. I'm looking at Tech schools for EE. Right now my list is as follows; UC Santa Cruz, Rochester Institute of Technology, Virginia Tech, Texas A&M, and NYU Polytech. I am fairly confident that I'll get into at least one of them. So this is a really exciting time for me.

My classes this year are very fun! Shakespeare, Isms (watching Mark Steel lecture on Marx right now), 13 Most Beautiful Experiments, Spanish Lit, Dig Vid (which has actually turned into still film due to resources), Phys Ed (love to complain, but it's actually kinda fun), and Calculus. This year is going pretty smoothly. I'm having fun in all my classes most days. But hey, you can't win 'em all.

I've been listening to so much music lately. So much more stuff. So much different stuff. It's pretty great putting on shuffle because I never know what I'm gonna get next. I went and saw Arctic Monkeys on Wednesday last week. They were pretty good live, although their stage performance was not as good as Sonic Youth or Yeah Yeah Yeah's, both of whom I saw over the summer. Although those two bands have had more than 20ish years to figure out what they were doing.

I have a new girlfriend, Brianna, who is SO amazing. We watched Tale of Two Sisters and Dark Crystal on Saturday night. When's the last time YOU made out with a hot chick during a kids (?) movie that came out a decade before you were born? Hahaha.

I got a new old Canon AE-1 from my old buddy Jon O this weekend. I am so excited to go out shooting. I have to get film this week. And I'll go and shoot Monday with Bri. She's an excellent photographer. And she knows lots about it. I guess when you're home schooled you can kinda major in photography.

Alec is at RIT and I am missing him so much right now. We are gonna go see him this weekend for Brick City Homecoming. He and I are gonna go see Jimmy Wales (the creator of Wikipedia) speak.

Bed time is now. School tomorrow and all that jazz. Oh! Almost forgot. I got a new old bike (1976 Scwinn Varsity) and I have been riding it EVERYWHERE. About 3 miles to school most days. And today I beat my PR (previously ≈13 minutes) by roughly 3 minutes. That's almost 20 mph on pure man power. And for a slightly not so thin teenager, pretty awesome. So yeah! Awesome. Night y'all.
